Qualifications min. Yachtmaster offshore working towards OOW, ENG1, STCW95
Job Description:
We are looking for a Chief Officer / Mate for a 42m Charter/Private vessel with mixed owner and charter use, The Vessel already has confirmed charters for the 2025 Med Season and is currently in the yard for maintenance work.
The vessel is single-season.
The Ideal candidate will be available ASAP, have all documents up to date, and have previous experience in an Officer / Mate role onboard a similar-sized vessel, ideally with charter experience.
Skills and Attributes Required:
Previous experience as Mate / Officer on a similar-sized motor yacht
Excellent communication skills
Good knowledge of deck maintenance and ability to mentor the bosun/deckhand
Experienced with yard/refit operation – Vessel is currently in the yard
Good management skills
Knowledge of ISM
Driving Licence
Package: Permanent contract, 6,000/6500 USD, MLC Standard Leave allowance
